Principal’s Message 

The Blazers of the Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy brighten every step of our educational journey, and I am truly honored to be part of this team. Together, we continue to embrace innovative learning practices, build meaningful traditions, and empower students to become leaders of their futures and serve their communities. 

Since beginning my career in education in 2000, I have had the privilege of teaching at both the elementary and middle school levels in Gwinnett and Walton counties. I have also been honored to coach football and wrestling for middle and high school students and to serve as an assistant principal at Walnut Grove High School in Walton County. 

When I’m not working alongside the fantastic students and staff at BASA, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and our three fantastic children. Especially, when we enjoy the outdoors to appreciate nature with our dog, Mo. 

I look forward to continuing this journey with you.
