Weather Watch: No Jan. 31 Activities

We are closely monitoring the next round of winter weather expected this weekend for our area. Based on the forecast and after consulting with local emergency teams, all extra-curricular activities for Saturday, Jan. 31, have been canceled.

Any decision concerning our Monday school schedule will be shared with families no later than Sunday evening through email/text messages, our websites, social media, and local media stations. If you are not receiving our direct messages, please check your contact information in the Parent Portal.

    Kristen Farist was raised in the North Georgia mountains and enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and watching sports. Go Dawgs!!

    She studied Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Georgia, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Education. Subsequently, she attended the Medical College of Georgia, earning a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2014.

    Since then, she has practiced in the private health sector in both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings. Dr. Farist looks forward to helping students discover the opportunities available to them in the healthcare world.
