Weather Watch: No Jan. 31 Activities

We are closely monitoring the next round of winter weather expected this weekend for our area. Based on the forecast and after consulting with local emergency teams, all extra-curricular activities for Saturday, Jan. 31, have been canceled.

Any decision concerning our Monday school schedule will be shared with families no later than Sunday evening through email/text messages, our websites, social media, and local media stations. If you are not receiving our direct messages, please check your contact information in the Parent Portal.

Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM)

Students in the STEM Magnet Program will have the opportunity to major in areas such as architecture, computer science, cyber security, engineering, game design, and robotics/mechatronics.

    Dylan grew up in Winder and graduated from Winder-Barrow High School.  As an undergraduate at UGA he studied Environmental Economics and Management. After college, Dylan began teaching through the Teach For America program in Philadelphia in 2005. Since then he has earned a Master of Arts in Science Education from UGA, and taught a wide variety of classes in science, technology, engineering, and math.
