Graduation Guidelines

Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy logo with a graduation cap and text: Graduation Guidelines.In the best interest of graduates, staff, guests, and neighbors, please review the guidelines below concerning the Class of 2025 graduation ceremony at the Innovation Amphitheater at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21. Let's work together to make it a safe and memorable night.

  • Parking opens at 5:30 p.m. for guests
  • You can park at the Innovation Amphitheater, BASA, and Austin Road Elementary.
  • Graduates should arrive at the BASA Café between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Graduates should park at Sims Academy or Lanier Tech.
  • The amphitheater gates will open at 6 p.m.
  • All guests will be screened through the weapons detection system.
  • Only clear bags will be allowed through the detectors and inside the amphitheater.
  • Restrooms are available at the amphitheater,
  • The following items are not allowed in the amphitheater.
    • Noisemakers, liquid string, signs, tents, beach balls, or anything that may cause a distraction.
    • Outside food or drink.
  • Bottles of water will be provided.
  • Each graduate receives 7 tickets to invite loved ones. Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy and the Barrow County School System do not support or encourage the sale of graduation tickets. If a family has tickets they don't need, please offer them - at no cost - to other Blazers who may need them.
