The Barrow County School System and BASA are happy to announce Dr. Heather Hawk as a new Assistant Principal of the Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, starting with the 2026-2027 school year.  

Dr. Hawk brings 19 years of experience in middle and high school education, serving as a classroom teacher, department chair, and instructional coach, all most recently in Newton County. She says it's an honor to become a Blazer and is excited to join BASA in its commitment to excellence.
